TutorLink.ai
TutorLink.ai uses a novel machine learning model to pair students and tutors based on learning/teaching style.
Roles: Chose web framework, designed front-end, and laid the infrastructure for ML model integration. Duration: 3 months.
ExtempAI
ExtempAI, designed for the speech and debate event of extemporaneous speaking, searches the web for articles based on a keyword, then summarizes them with AI and displays them to the user, saving valuable prep time.
Roles: Sole creator, from concept to deployment. Duration: 3 weeks. Challenges: First time using Django, which required a learning curve.
SafeWalk
SafeWalk is an IOS app that analyses historical crime data to help users find a safer route from A to B. I worked on the front end of our app using React Native, and I worked on our backend, written in statically typed Cython.
Roles: Team leader focusing on back-end optimization reducing request time from 45s to < 3s, also contributed to front-end. Organized daily meetings to set goals.
