Co-authored Intelligence per Watt, a new metric for measuring AI energy efficiency, and built the energy-profiling infrastructure for LLMs behind the paper's experiments. Contributed to Minions, a protocol for cost-efficient local–cloud model collaboration.
Intern, then junior engineer. Built the analytics tool Datavations' customers use to explore their sales data, used by hundreds of analysts weekly. Later led a front-end migration.
A tutoring marketplace built around an AI matching algorithm: it models each student's learning style and each tutor's teaching style, then pairs them on compatibility rather than just subject and availability. Grew to 40+ tutors and 160+ students in Miami.
Prep tool for extemporaneous speaking: finds and summarizes news articles on a topic, using a fine-tuned GPT-3 that cut costs ~5x vs GPT-4. Used by my high school's speech and debate team at tournaments.
iOS app that finds the safest walking route, not the fastest, by scoring paths against historical crime data. Led a team of 3 and built the back end and front end. Presented to Google X.
